Why so many AI SEO courses are free
Most of the free AI SEO courses on this list come from companies that sell SEO software. Ahrefs, Semrush, HubSpot, Surfer and Conductor all have AI visibility or AI search features to sell, and a free course is how they teach the market to want them. That does not make the courses bad. It does mean they often end with a product walkthrough, and the measurement lessons tend to use the provider's own tool.
The rest are free because the author wants reach. Guides like iPullRank's AI Search Manual and Aleyda Solis's Learning AI Search roadmap are long, free references written by practitioners, and they are some of the most detailed material in the whole comparison.

- Week 2: the mechanics. Read one deep free reference on how AI search retrieves and cites pages. Take notes on what you would change on your own site.
